Community

Our parish is a busy place! For a full list of upcoming events, always check the weekly bulletin.

Spiritual Life

Bible Study

Each Wednesday at 10 a.m., parishioners meet via Zoom for Bible Study, to discuss the scripture readings for the coming Sunday. Contact Fr. Paul to join the group!

Retreats & Study Groups

Occasionally Fr. Paul offers courses, discussion groups and retreats that provide opportunity for deeper conversation about sacred things. For example: in Advent 2022, Fr. Paul offered an evening lecture series on the history and life of the early church and in Lent 2023, iconographer Fr. Benjamin von Bredow offered a week-long workshop-retreat on the spirituality and craft of sacred art.

Community Events

Community Lunch

Each Thursday at 12:30 p.m., the rector serves up a pot of soup in the parish hall. These community lunches have become a wonderful way to catch up with one another, to meet new friends, and to invite folk to St. Paul's.

Fundraising Events and Dinners

For many parishioners, community life at St. Paul’s centres around our annual series of fundraising events and dinners, which benefit the work of our church in this community and the broader mission of Christ within our province and throughout the world.

Children and Youth

Sunday School

Our Sunday School provides space for children in pre-school to explore the stories and message of the Bible through song and play! Parents, grandparents and older siblings are always welcome to join in the fun.

Youth Group

Our youth group provides teenagers with a safe and supportive context to explore questions about church and spirituality. Each Friday evening (during the school year) we gather in the parish hall for two hours of activity and friendship.

Vacation Bible School

In the summertime, Vacation Bible School provides an opportunity for children in elementary school to explore their church beyond the Sunday School classroom. Through song, story and games we learn about Jesus and the life of his Church.
