About us

At St. Paul’s, we worship and follow our Lord Jesus Christ within the Anglican tradition.

We share a common life that finds its foundation in prayer and fellowship, in our growth as disciples, and in active outreach, extending God’s love to our region and beyond.

Our Rector

Fr. Paul Rideout

Father Paul grew up in Moreton's Harbour, Newfoundland. He holds a B.A. in History and Religious Studies from Memorial University and a M.Div. (Hons.) from Queen's College. In 2010, he was ordained to the diaconate and then the priesthood.

His interest in church history has led him to spend time studying both in Canterbury and in Rome.

He has served as Rector of the Parish of Port-de-Grave and as an Associate Priest at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in St. John's.

In October of 2017, he moved into the rectory in Rothesay, where he now lives with his wife Erin, their son, their mischievous beagle, Dexter, and their ginger cat, Aslan.
